$13,700 GIVEN OUT IN SCHOLARSHIPS
Vickie Rosenbusch Memorial Scholarship
Vickie Rosenbusch Memorial Scholarship Donation
This scholarship was established in February 2015. The Somervell County Youth Fair accepted donations and sold belt buckle sponsorships to help fund this scholarship. Vickie was an avid supporter of the Somervell County Youth Fair and the Glen Rose FFA. Her impact on this world is visible in the thousands of young people she has influenced. Many young people considered her to be their favorite substitute teacher and their "stock show mom", thanks to endless hours she spent ringside as a parent and supporter, as the Swine Superintendent for the Somervell County Youth Fair, Fort Worth Stock Show and The State Fair of Texas and being the FFA Area 8 Coordinator. As a result, the Somervell County Youth Fair created a scholarship in honor of her dedication and support for graduating Glen Rose FFA seniors. Thank you for your consideration and support of the youth of Somervell County. You can click on the "Donate" button above and enter your donation amount of your choice. Thank you again for your support in honoring Vickie and the youth of Somervell County.
The Vickie Rosenbusch Memorial Scholarship will be awarded to a graduating senior from the Glen Rose FFA Program who meets the application requirements. The monies they receive may be used for a technical school, junior college, college or university (correspondences courses are excluded).
Dale McPherson Memorial Scholarship
Dale McPherson Memorial Scholarship Donation
This scholarship was established in March 1999. The SCYF sold pens and accepted donations to help fund this scholarship. As a result, the associaiton created a scholarship fund for graduation seniors.
